I want to share a story from my childhood to further clarify something I was alluding to in another post.
When I was a child, I believed in Santa Claus. However, I lived in the Bronx in an apartment building. We know the story of Santa Claus involves this character delivering presents on a sleigh with flying reindeer and climbing down chimneys. While I would look to the sky on Christmas eve to see if I could catch a glimpse of flying reindeer, I knew I did not have a chimney. Despite the established fact that I did not have a chimney, I would imagine that he would come to the front of my apartment door, turn into a red ball of light, phase through the door and return to his regular form and deliver the presents.
I gave this story from "my light" in order for it to be real to me in my experience. This ability is a gift that humanity is endowed with. The value is actually in "the light" and not in the story that I gave it to. It allowed me for a time to have a pleasant experience and share with the collective group of people who took part in the celebration of this story. A real experience was derived from a fictitious story. All this because the value of "the light" that I chose to give it. I am pointing solely to that mechanism.
Are you aware how much is spent on commercials? Reflect on the amount of money that is spent on access to your consciousness. In 2023, a record of 7 million dollars was spent on a 30 second Superbowl ad. Are you aware of the value of you individually and collectively? You have the ability to make people stars and celebrities just from the giving of "your light". You have a great influence over your own experience of life both in the good and harm. With this there is a great responsibility. Are the values we hold or give equal, more or less to the values that are in the things we give them to? There is even more to say but that can wait for another post.
Do you know who you are?
